Hello, I am JayDee I am a reader and rootworker who is passionate about helping others in their life to find their purpose, guiding them during troubled times, and encouraging them when in times of need. A compassionate and understanding reader who listens to the client, and their needs, and spiritually assess the work that is needed to be done to assist them.
As a child, I was raised in a Catholic family in New York City, where I was raised in the folk tradition of my ancestors. I received my first Tarot deck at 16 and started learning how to read the cards. During this time, I was also very interested in Astrology and Folk Magic. I learned as much as I could from my family and community members on the subjects. Some of the members taught me folk traditions different than my own heritage. I moved to Michigan as a teen and attended secondary school in the state. As I became older, I was introduced to Hoodoo and found many parallels to the types of workings I grew up with, such as cleansings, prayers, and working with herbs and candles. I was fortunate to live in a diverse community where I was able to be immersed in a variety of magical sources including Arabic, Jewish, and African American. I became an active member of the Lucky Mojo Forum in 2008, then took Miss Cat's course and became an active moderator on the forum, where I regularly reply to questions from the public and provide magical coaching and spell-casting advice
I have strong working relationships with many Catholic Saints, both of whom I grew up venerating, and learned about more through my training in Hoodoo. I primarily use the Tarot deck for readings, along with a pendulum and the assistance of my spirit guides. As a clairvoyant, I often hear or feel something that relates to the client’s needs. I have very strong relationships with St. Anthony, St. Joseph, St. Expedite, and St. Michael, among other spirit guides who assist me in my work.
In Rootwork I offer services for a variety of needs based on the client’s reading, I believe that work must be justified to conduct it. Areas that I have a large focus on based on clients’ needs include reconciliation,, success work, and general love work. I work with a variety of spell types for my clients to address the holistic need of the situation. The work may include spiritual baths to cleanse, votive condition candles based on a client’s desire, figural candles worked on alter for love work, break up, money drawing, and healing. Vinegar and break-up jars burned with seven chime candles to break up a relationship or sour people. honey jars to sweeten people as lovers or to bring favor by fostering kind relationships. mojo bags, created to the client’s needs, are filled with curios,roots, and herbs known to assist in specific areas such as love, luck, success, and health. On the day and time scheduled for your reading, you should call me at 586-646-8263. This number is not for making appointments (they are booked online) but it is for scheduled readings and rootwork consultations.
My telephone and in-person reading schedule may be booked in advance. If you want an in-person tarot card or tea leaf reading, please schedule ahead.

Readings and Spiritual Consultations:
I offer several forms of divination, psychic readings, spiritual consultations, magical coaching, and practical advice:
I am available for both pre-scheduled and caller-initiated readings, in person and by telephone.
- 10 minute pre-scheduled reading, consultation or magical coaching: $15.00
- 30 minute pre-scheduled reading, consultation or magical coaching: $50.00
- 60 minute pre-scheduled reading, consultation or magical coaching: $100.00
- Yes / No Question: $15.00
- Caller-initiated reading via Hoodoo Psychics: $3.99 per minute
For the price of a one-hour consultation I will instruct you on how to do conjure work yourself if you wish. I will give you a list of everything you need to perform your spell, and instruct you on the procedure. You may take hand-written notes or record the consultation for future reference.
If I cannot provide certain rootwork services to you because I am over-booked or cannot take your case for another reason, I will select and recommend at least three other AIRR rootworkers to you, based on what I understand of your case. If you engage one of them, I will provide a complete copy of my notes from our reading to the worker of your choice, via email. This will save you considerable time in consultation. My consultation notes are not available to the public and can only be sent to another AIRR member upon receipt of a request from you, the client.
