Pisces is the twelfth sign of the Zodiac, which the Sun enters at the closing of the Zodiacal year. Represented by a yoked pair of Fishes, Pisces is linked with duality, fluidity, psychicism, artistry, and imagination. In Pisces, the angels render evil spirits subject to man, and protect the pious so the great enemy cannot harm us. The tarot card that signifies Pisces is The Moon.

Understanding Pisces in the Zodiacal Year

Pisces is the Mutable Water sign, symbolizing stormy waves upon water. It is a Feminine sign, but because it is ruled by the planet Jupiter (or in modern usage, Neptune), it has masculine aspects. Jupiter is the ancient Roman god of thunder; Neptune is the god of the Sea. Pisces is one of two signs Jupiter rules, the other being Sagittarius.
Because of the Jupiterian and Neptunian co-rulership, Pisceans are imaginative, changeable, and versatile — but because Pisces is the Fishes, they also have deep and sometimes hidden emotions, and are sensitive to others. Their worst flaw may be unevenness and unpredictability, which is the result of their impressionability and suggestibility.
If You Are a Pisces
If you were born between February 20 and March 20, Pisces is your sign. You have a complex spiritual and emotional life, and a contradictory nature, as you love both social activity and mystical introspection. Your fortune is to be found in a combination of artistic and professional pursuits. Your friends will seek you out because you have a sympathetic ear and insightful understanding.
When energy is low, you become sad or restless, but when your path shows progress, you may find success through your hunches, dreams, or psychic intuition. Make a decision to rely upon your will power too; be optimistic and you can achieve a goal dear to your heart. You would do well to marry a person born under the sign Taurus, Cancer, or Scorpio. Thursday will always be a fortunate day for you.
The Pisces People in Your Life
These people are filled with knowledge, but they may hesitate to present their views of a subject, owing to a lack of self-confidence. They are naturally neat and exacting in all things, and are inclined toward religion, mysticism, art, music, and literary pursuits. They have a restless desire for change and travel. They may fear that more will be expected of them than they can give, and they succeed best if they stop worrying and do not concern themselves so much about the future. They are never talkative or boastful, yet the most skilled and creative workmen come out of this sign. They have ennobling instincts, and are gentle, modest, and clean-minded.
