Sagittarius is the ninth sign of the Zodiac, the sign that the Sun enters every year as Autumn turns toward Winter. Sagittarius is called “the Archer” but is represented by a Centaur, half-horse, half-man, drawing a bow, and is linked with duality, upward tendencies, and philosophy (the Centaurs were teachers).
