Understanding Aquarius in the Zodiacal Year
Aquarius is the Fixed Air sign, symbolizing stillness in the atmosphere. It is a Masculine sign, traditionally ruled by Saturn, the Roman god of time, duty, and severity, but more recently it has been assigned the new ruler Uranus, more properly Urania, the Roman goddess of the night sky and stars. Aquarius is one of two signs Saturn rules, the other being Capricorn.
Due to Saturnian and Uranian co-rulership, Aquarians are responsible, mathematically and scientifically inclined, socially co-operative, and steady in their work habits. Their worst flaw may be a form of stability that verges on stodginess, but they are never so conservative that they fail to thrill to a new scientific discovery or advance in human knowledge.
If You Are an Aquarius
If you were born between January 21 and February 19, Aquarius is your sign. You have the qualities of a good student, a scientist, and a social reformer. You are progressive and at the same time prudent. Business conditions generally do not interest you as much as intellectual research does, and developing practical and theoretical knowledge is one of the best focal points for your activities.
It is your habit to thoroughly plan for important career, social, and family changes. Disappointments may arise because you trust mankind in general, even when that trust is not warranted. You have the unusual capacity to set aside projects and tasks and then to come back and finish them later. If you marry a person born under the same sign, happiness will result. Saturday is your best day.
The Aquarius People in Your Life
These people have excellent reasoning faculties and impress one as having more than ordinary intelligence. They readily adapt themselves to any emergency. They are agreeable, humanitarian, courteous, objective, and rarely if ever hot-tempered. Their minds are quick, their judgement good, and they have the natural ability and clairvoyant power to read human nature. They are always thinking out innovative new schemes and ideas, yet they often lay their plans so big that they are unable to carry them out. They are not always prompt in keeping their promises and appointments. They delight in asking questions and delving into all things mysterious.
