My name is Nikki Jean, and I am a tarot card reader, spiritual healer, and a conjure woman. The professional practice of magic has always been a part of my life, from at a very young age. I was born in raised in Chicago, Illinois, in a multicultural home. My mother is Italian and French, and my father is African American, born in Tifton, Georgia. I am bilingual and conduct readings in English and Spanish.
I grew up in a strong Catholic household and became very active with the church. As a teenager I was a Catechist teacher, focusing on First Communion classes. That really instilled my love for teaching and educating which is still a foundation for my magical practice to this day. I frequently petition Mother Mary, Saint Joseph, Saint Martha, and Mary Magdalene on behalf of clients.
As a child, I was always drawn to nature and the spirit world. I started communicating with relatives who had passed and learned how to give and receive messages from the dead. As I got older, I began my journey through extensive reading and studying on all types of religious traditions and magical practices and found my calling within many of them. I like to refer to myself an eclectic witch, because I don’t subscribe to a certain tradition and I believe magic is more fun when you make it your own.
In my past professional life, I studied Public Policy at Depaul University in Chicago, and worked for NGO’s in South America focusing on social and economic development in the most improvised communities. Assisting those in need gives me the greatest joy, and I dedicate that mission now in my spiritual practice through the AIRR Pro Bono Fund as I strive to help people become better versions of themselves.
When I left that world behind and moved to Nashville, I really stepped into my power. Under the mentorship and guidance of Papa Gee and Reverend Roy, I learned how to take my reading and rootwork practice to a higher professional level and I've never looked back. In 2020, I became a Certified Reiki Master, under Reverend Roy and in 2022 I completed Catherine Yronwode's Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course. I have taught classes at AromaG’s Tennessee Folk Magic Fest in Nashville on "Working with your Ancestors" and at the AISC's 2022 Hoodoo Heritage Festival on working at "The Crossroads in African Traditional Religions."
My readings focus on a strong sense of healing and clarity, I want to make sure that you know how to tap into your own personal power and manifest things for yourself. I show you where obstacles may lay and give you guidance on how to move forward. I love seeing my clients grow and embrace their power for themselves.

Hours: I don't keep set business hours, but I am usually available for readings five days a week from 8:00 - 10:00 AM and 7:00 - 10:00 PM Central Time, Tuesday, and Thursday through Sunday, by appointment.
