As the twelfth of the 12 zodiacal animals, the Pig embodies calmness and joi de vivre. Those born in the year of the Pig are considered to be cheerful and intelligent.

Pig people are said to be balanced in their approach to life, always taking time to savor the present moment.

Their worst flaws may be over-thinking and avoiding taking action when it is needed.

If You Were Born in the Year of the Pig

If you were born in the year of the Pig, you are optimistic and sincere. You genuinely like people, and know how to be diplomatic to keep the peace. In love, you like to take your time to get to know someone before entrusting them with your heart. Although your emotions can be strong, your slow and steady approach makes you luckier in love than the more impulsive.

You are practical and disciplined where money is concerned, able to make a financial plan and stick to it, even if you are sometimes tempted by indulgence. To mitigate the potential effects of impulsive but excessive generosity, define your charitable works in advance, and include them in your financial plan.

The Pig People in Your Life

These people, like the Pig, are kind and open-hearted. They are honest and methodical, and believe in doing well by doing good. Their easy-going nature stands in contrast to the enthusiasm they bring to achieving their goals and deeper purposes.

On the downside, they may become lazy and complacent as a way of avoiding conflict.

They often are attracted to those born in the years of the The Sheep, The Rabbit, or The Tiger.
