As the nineth of the 12 zodiacal animals, the Monkey embodies energy and initiative. Those born in the year of the Monkey are considered to be quick-witted and brave, and can enliven any situation with their good-natured humor. Monkey people are said to be open-minded and love experiencing new things. Their worst flaws may be a tendency to brag and be overly confident in their assessment of their capabilities.

If You were born in the year of the Monkey

If you were born in the year of the Monkey, you are out-going and know how to have fun. You would always prefer to regret something you have done, rather than regret something you haven’t done. In love, you aren’t afraid to make the first move, and many find you very persuasive. You see money as a tool and a means to an end, and you may tend to pursue short-term ends at the expense of longer-term goals. You may be reluctant to create a budget, much less adhere to it, but doing so could help your money do more for you.

The Monkey People in Your Life

These people, like the Monkey, are the life of the party. They are tolerant and open-minded, and aren’t afraid to try new things or explore new places. They are ready to stand up for what they believe, and won’t back down if they believe they are in the right. On the downside, they may tend to act first and reflect later, depending on their wits to get out of situations their impulsiveness has gotten them into. They often are attracted to those born in the years of the The Rat, The Dragon, The Dog.
