The Dragon or Lóng (pronounced luh-Ong), "dragon") is the fifth animal of the lunar Chinese Zodiac, representing the Spring rains. The Dragon represents the concepts of power, luck, and tenacity, as well as auspiciousness and nobility.

As the fifth of the 12 zodiacal animals, the Dragon embodies courage and power. Those born in the year of the Dragon are considered to be inherently lucky, and that luck is backed up with tenacity and determination.
Dragon people are said to be courageous and are often natural leaders. Their worst flaw may a tendency toward arrogance.
