Hotei Buddha

Hotei Buddha, also known as Ho Tei, Budai, Pu-Tai, or Fat Buddha, is a Chinese Buddha of contentment and abundance, usually depicted as a smiling or laughing bald man wearing a monk's robe and carrying emblems of wealth such as bags of rice, or a gold ingot. He has a reputation for predicting fortunes, anticipating weather changes, and enduring mystic hardships.
