I grew up in a haunted house surrounded by family members who also interacted with spirits on a regular basis so I have a long history of communicating with the spirit realm of the dead. Being raised Catholic, I have always aligned closely with saints and angels and partner with them in many of my works. I became interested in spirit communication spending summers in Missouri with my grandmother, who although a Baptist, curiously engaged in many Spiritualist practices. I find it interesting that both of my grandmothers owned and used spirit boards. I have Catholic roots but my spirituality is wide and vast. I believe in a higher power I call God and I also belive that God speaks to me through people of all religious backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures.

In the mid 1980s I began practicing hedge-witchery and have had many inspirational teachers along the way. Over the years I have performed public rituals and taught classes in hoodoo rootwork, psychic development, reiki, mediumship, tarot, and palmistry. As a student of Arline Rowden, I became a Reiki Master-Teacher in 2007 and continue to work with healing energy. Locally I perform in-person divinations, rootwork, spiritual cleansings, and the energy work of reiki, past-life healing, and soul retrieval. I work closely with Saint Christopher for safety and with Saint Anthony for missing people. For many years I have an altar on which I set lights for the missing, free of charge (note that no candle report or divination is given with this free service).

I am an intuitive reader and spirit-worker, and have been reading palms professionally since 1996 and tarot since 1999. I have been a hoodoo rootworker since 2007. I have had a variety of other life experiences which serve to enhance my spiritual work. I am a retired Registered Nurse and worked as a triage nurse for 25 years in the Milwaukee County Psychiatric Crises Service, which has the unique distinction of being one of the few, centralized “psychiatric emergency rooms” in the country and so I have years of experience working with people in crises and counseling others, especially through times of crises or trauma. I also worked for a year at the Milwaukee County Jail and for a short time at the Sexual Assault Treatment Center. Personally, I have dealt with my own recovery journey from alcohol and drugs within a 12 step spirituality and have been clean and sober since 1985. Helping others with alcohol or drug problems is a key aspect of my own spiritual journey.

I operated my own magical brick and mortar store from 2007 to 2011 and continue to work in person locally and online with clients. I have been crossed, jinxed, and given the evil eye many a time, especially during the years of operating the in-person store and have personal experience with cleansing and destroying the bad, evil works of others. After closing the store I felt the need to help others in a higher cause and from 2012 to 2014 I volunteered at a missing person agency (whose bylaws require that I do not use their name) to use my gifts to help locate the missing. This was an extraordinary experience, as I received no compensation and no accolades; it helped me to focus and grow even more as a spirit worker.
